The Windsor Castle |
Practicable : May to November
Length : one day Distance : 45 km (1h 30 mn) Departing time : 7:30 am at most Hiking : 4 hours Combine it with : Leisure in the Courrier Bay NB : Bring solar protections (sunscreen, hat and sunglasses).
From the parking place, a 2-hour ascent will lead you to the top of the
393m high promontary where you will find the remnants of an old
observation post.
From there you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view. On the east side the beautiful Bay of Diego ; up North, Cap d’Ambre ; on the west side the Mozambic Channel and the Nosy Hara Archipelago ; and in the South the Courrier Bay. In the afternoon, as a reward after the climb, go for a swim in the Courrier Bay.
